Lakes Bathrooms adds AllClear to bath screens

Bathroom enclosure and screen specialist Lakes Bathrooms has announced that its invisible protective coating AllClear™ is now being added to bath screens in the Classic Collection. The stay-clean coating repels water, dirt, soap scum and limescale on bathroom surfaces and has been introduced as standard on its shower products without any price increase.  

AllClear, Lakes Bathrooms explains, is a high performance coating to be applied to both sides of the glass used in the Classic Collection.   The repellent properties of the coating should ensure that these products require significantly less cleaning than standard bathrooms surfaces. The company says that this leads to savings in cleaning time and associated cost of cleaning products.   

Environmental advantages are also claimed to result from AllClear as it is recommended that treated surfaces need only to be wiped with a cloth and clean water to return them to crystal clean. This, Lakes Bathrooms claims, should remove or greatly reduce the need for chemical cleaners. By avoiding build up of limescale and soap scum the growth of mould and harmful bacteria should also be reduced, leading to improved hygiene in the bathroom.   

Even better than the eco factor, health advantages and stay-clean gleam, is the fact that Lakes Bathrooms are offering this high-tech coating without extra charge. Explaining this bonus sales director at Lakes Bathrooms, Robin Craddock said “The AllClear coating should retail at £150-200 but because we’ve seen such an increase in demand thanks to its protective properties we’ve decided to add it for free. It means that all our customers can keep their shower enclosure or door looking as good as the day they bought it without spending significant time or using chemical cleaners to scrub away any water marks or build up. This is clearly an attractive advantage with many compelling benefits.”
